Automation, PLCs and instrumentation.
PLCs, drives and field devices installed, terminated and loop-checked.

The equipment usually comes from you
We do not sell equipment and we have no view on whose PLC runs the line. That is decided before we arrive. We work on whatever platform the line was designed around, most often Siemens or Beckhoff, with ABB, Danfoss or SEW drives.
Our hands-on time on those platforms is long enough that we will say if something looks like it is going to be missed. You hear that during planning, not during commissioning.
From panel to field device
Control panel installation and wiring, PLC I/O, drive installation and parameterisation, and terminations to sensors and actuators. Sensing is a subject of its own in every plant. There is dust, damp and vibration in quantity, and a wrong sensor choice shows up in the first hard frost.
What you are left with
Loop-checked I/O and labelling the next engineer can read without us. That works when the labelling is done properly the first time.
HOW A PROJECT RUNS
- 01
INPUT DATA
Layout, device list and destination. That is enough to start pricing. On a process we know, a figure usually comes back in a day or two.
- 02
SCHEDULE
The installation period and the commissioning window are agreed before work starts. Resourcing is locked down at the same time, because that is where overruns are made.
- 03
INSTALL
Routes walked before anything is pulled, labelled before anything is live. The site is cleared daily. You know where the job stands without having to ask.
- 04
COMMISSION
Loop checks, dry runs and running with material alongside your automation engineer. Commissioning inspection and handover documentation in the agreed form.
The questions that usually come first.
Do you program the PLC?
No. Application programming is yours or your automation supplier’s. We do the installation, the terminations, the parameterisation and the loop checks, and hand over loop-checked I/O for the program to be commissioned onto.
Which platforms do you work with?
Siemens and Beckhoff most often, with ABB, Danfoss and SEW drives. The platform arrives with the line. We do not try to change it.
Do you install panels supplied by others?
Yes. We also build to drawing if the panel is wanted from us.
Who does the commissioning?
It is done together. Your automation engineer commissions the program, we are responsible for the field being terminated and checked. In practice, in the same room at the same time.
