How a project runs.

The date is agreed once. Four principles the crew is held to on site, and you can hold us to the same four.

  1. 01

You hear about the slip once it has already happened, when nothing can be done about it.

THE SCHEDULE IS PART OF THE DELIVERY.

The schedule is agreed before work starts and it does not move quietly. If the scope changes along the way, you hear the effect inside the same week. The habit in this trade is to announce an overrun and leave it there. Nobody adds people, nobody extends the day. It is noted, and everyone carries on.

  2. 02

You call a number that does not know your project, and explain it from the start every time.

    ONE NAMED PROJECT MANAGER.

You know who runs your project and you reach them directly. Calls get answered in the evening too. Supervision is on site, which sounds obvious until you compare.

  3. 03

The contractor leaves and the end customer remembers the mess, not the line.

SITE TIDINESS IS ITS OWN REQUIREMENT.

On site we are working under your name. Offcuts, packaging and tools back in their place at the end of the day. In a dusty plant it is a fire safety matter as much as a housekeeping one.

  4. 04

The fault turns up at handover, and nobody will say when it was actually introduced.

YOU HEAR IT FROM US FIRST.

If something breaks you hear it from us, along with how it gets put right. The fault is logged internally so the next crew does not repeat it.

HOW A PROJECT RUNS

  1. 01

    INPUT DATA

Layout, device list and destination. That is enough to start pricing. On a process we know, a figure usually comes back in a day or two.

  2. 02

    SCHEDULE

The installation period and the commissioning window are agreed before work starts. Resourcing is locked down at the same time, because that is where overruns are made.

  3. 03

    INSTALL

Routes walked before anything is pulled, labelled before anything is live. The site is cleared daily. You know where the job stands without having to ask.

  4. 04

    COMMISSION

Loop checks, dry runs and running with material alongside your automation engineer. Commissioning inspection and handover documentation in the agreed form.
