Sawmill electrical installation.

From log handling to packing. This is the industry we know best.

A sawmill conveyor line: boards on the rollers, drive motors and gearboxes along the frame, cable trays overhead

Sawmill equipment manufacturers have been our customers the longest, and the mill process is familiar to us in the order it appears in the hall. Log handling and infeed, the saw line, sorting and sticking, kilns, planing mill and packing.

A few things at a sawmill differ from the rest of industry. Conveyor runs are long, there are a great many motors and sensors, and some of them are outdoors, which means they either work in February or they do not. Dust gets everywhere. Sawdust finds every enclosure that was not properly sealed.

This is work where having seen the same process before pays off. We ask the right questions at the quotation stage and can commit to a tighter schedule, because we know where the time actually goes. A process timed to a summer shutdown and finished in three weeks is a job we will take on, provided the scope is known in good time.
